This restorative retreat, situated in the heart of nature and limited to a maximum approved living area of 40 m², is designed for a couple seeking a compact yet comfortable escape from civilization. Thanks to its harmonious integration with the surroundings, construction methods, and choice of materials, the interior remains pleasantly cool in summerand cozy warm in winter. The large, minimalist sliding windows create a direct connection between the spacious central room and the landscape, allowing for optimal cross ventilation and a wide visual openness to the environment. The interior is divided into three clearly defined areas, separated by custom-made furniture: a bedroom with a workspace for two people; a living area with a ceiling height of up to 5 meters, equipped with a fireplace, armchairs, a dining table, and the kitchen; and a fully equipped bathroom. The dividing furniture includes bookshelves, cabinets, storage spaces, a fireplace, the kitchen, and two ladders leading to the upper floor. On the upper level, adjacent to a double-height space, there is a sleeping platform, while on the opposite side, the technical area of the house is cleverly concealed behind custom-made carpentry. The project focuses on modern materials and energy-efficient solutions. The facade combines broom-finished plaster, perforated steel sliding shutters, and reused antique clay roof tiles on a modern, insulated, and sealed gable roof.
