Under the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", participating countries in the city of Milan presented their natural resources and technologies to promote the health and well-being of humanity as well as the balance of the planet.Brunei offered visitors a seamless spatial experience, showcasing its history, culture, nature, economy, and productsacross different sections of the pavilion.In the first room, which is the tallest at eight meters high, visitors moved through a golden scenography representing forests and mangroves. At its center stood the "Nyiru", a traditional tool used to separate rice grains from straw. The cloud of Nyirus, combined with the lighting, materials, and their reflections in the pond, created a floating atmospherethat brought the country's rich nature, culture, and traditions to life.In the second room, the setting shifted: the display of traditional tools was complemented by a vibrant spice market, a section dedicated to international relations, and an access point to the pavilion's administrative area for staff.Copyright Jung von Matt.
